Owner: 0xa5d9…68c1

Forged in Baa-gony: A Runiverse Tale of Revenge

The following transcript was aired live last Wednesday on MystiNet TV right before the hero, Homer won the Grand Tournament. He vanished shortly afterward. Witnesses recall hearing faint "baas" in the distance right before Homer's disappearance.

Journalist Thalian Quillspire: Good evening, Homer. Thank you for joining us tonight right before your big match.

Homer: Pleasure to be here, Thalian.

Thalian: We've seen so many examples of your incredible skills as a warrior out there in the arena but we're all curious, what drove you to become such a formidable force on the battlefield?

Homer: [pauses, eyes clouded with troubled memories] Well, it's not a story I often share, but I suppose you deserve to know. [stares off into the distance]. It all started when I was just a child. I lived in a small village in the Hedge Wizard Wood. Life was peaceful until that fateful day.

Thalian: [leans closer] What happened?

Homer: [takes a deep breath] That's when the sheep came.

Thalian: The what?

Homer: The Sheep, Thalian, the fucking sheep. Vicious, bloodthirsty, monstrous sheep with glowing red eyes and savage sharp little teeth. Twisted wool... I can still feel them itching me everywhere...

Thalian: Sheep monsters? That's... unexpected. Please continue.

Homer: [small tears can be seen forming in Homer's eyes] They... They came to our village at night. No one expected they'd turn on us... slaughtering everyone in their path. Friends, family, neighbors... All gone. I can still hear them when I sleep. [Homer covers his face in his hands]. Their terrible baas. [His voice muffled]

Thalian: I'm so sorry, Homer. Do you want to continue?

Homer: [regains his composure somewhat] Yes. I'm okay. For some reason, they spared me. Maybe they thought I was too insignificant to be worth their attention.

Thalian: That must have been a horrifying experience. How did it shape your path as a warrior?

Homer: The sight of my loved ones being torn apart by sheep... it scars a person. I vowed to never let such evil go unpunished. From that moment on, I dedicated my life to becoming the best warrior I could be. So one day, when I met them again, I wouldn't be so helpless.

Thalian: That's a pretty unbelievable story, Homer. Can you tell us more about your journey since then?

Homer: Of course. After the attack, I sought out mentors who could train me in the ways of combat. I trained day and night, pushing myself to my limits and beyond. I honed my skills with sword, shield, and bow, always striving to be ready for any threat that may come my way.

Thalian: Did you ever encounter those sheep again?

Homer: I'm still on the hunt for those butcherers but someday I'll find them. I learned that day that the world is filled with evil. I've faced goblins, demons, even dragons. Each battle has only fueled my resolve to protect the innocent and avenge those I lost. Someday, I'll get my revenge.

Thalian: It's remarkable how you've turned tragedy into a driving force for good. Have you found any solace or closure in your journey?

Homer: Closure? [laughs bitterly] There can be no closure after witnessing those horrors. But with every monster I kill, I feel a small measure of justice being served. It keeps me going.

Thalian: Your story is indeed a testament to the strength of the warrior spirit. Thank you for sharing it with us, Homer. Is there anything else you'd like to add?

Homer: Just a word of caution to those who underestimate the evil of sheep. The Runiverse is a strange but dangerous place, and sometimes, even the most innocent looking farm animals can be savage beasts.

Thalian: Wise words, Homer. Thank you for your time, and may your journey be filled with valor, triumph, and maybe someone to talk to.

Homer: Thank you. [points at the camera with his sword] If you're watching, sheep, I'm coming for you and God help anything that gets in my way.
