Basilus Augustus Zephyr, a.k.a Basil was a powerful mage from "Purple Wizard Pavilion", the ancient "City of the Sun". Basil wielded the wind magic and was known for his mastery of the rune of mercury, which gave him control over the elements of air and water. Basil was admitted to the Mage Academy in the "Blue Wizard Bastion" at the age of 7 due to his gift in magic. He excelled in his studies, and eventually graduated at the top of his class.

Basil was a tall and slender man with white hair and beard. He wore orchid-colored robes and a pair of spectacles with thick lenses. He was always accompanied by his golden viper familiar, which he had named Mercurio. Mercurio was said to possess a heightened sense for danger and could always warn Basil of incoming threats.

After graduating from the Academy, Basil traveled the world. Being born in the "Purple Wizard Pavilion" and educated in the "Blue Wizard Bastion", Basil managed to build strong ties with and learnt from the greatest sorcerers of his time. He eventually returned to "Purple Wizard Pavilion", where he was appointed Archmagus. As Archmagus, Basil was responsible for protecting the kingdom from magical threats.

One of Basil's most famous battles was against the dragon, which was known as the Fire Drake. The Fire Drake was a menacing creature that had been terrorizing the folks in "Donut Atoll", an uncommonly large atoll off the coast of the Purple Pavillion. Basil was the only one who could repel the Fire Drake, and he did so by using his wind magic, known as "Zephyr's Laugh". Using the spell, Basil was able to create a huge tornado outside the dragon's den which prevented the Fire Drake from leaving the den. It was said that the tornado is still active till this day.

Basil also played a key role in defeating the evil sorcerer, Malum. Malum was a powerful wizard who had enslaved the people of "Purple Wizard Pavilion". Basil used his magic to free the people of "Purple Wizard Pavilion" from Malum's control, and he eventually defeated the sorcerer in a battle.

Basil was a kind and gentle soul, but he was also a fierce warrior when needed. He used his magic to protect the innocent and to fight against evil. He was a true hero, and his legend still lives on today.
