The Lore of Mystic David of the Quantum Shadow

Many paths I have traveled,

many tomes I have read,

In search of enlightenment,

through the Cosmos I’ve been led.

Crowley was my first teacher,

he helped me begin the search.

I yearn to discover my True Will,

but these efforts my intent does besmirch.

Still, I developed through meditation,

and increased my concentration as well.

Magick I did develop,

allowing my body to escape its shell.

In the Astral Plane I did travel,

and eventually sought to cross the Abyss.

However, the illusions disturbed me,

something had clearly gone amiss.

I flailed and fled blindly,

seeking solace in the reality I know.

But I ended up in another place,

known as the Quantum Shadow.

The Shadow is full of watchful powers,

detected, they captured me.

They sensed I had some small ability,

and now I am bound here completely.

Now it appears that this Realm,

is beset by Holy Flames.

My masters wish to know more about them,

and what advantage a burning gains.

So I am offered in some kind of contest,

alongside other captive souls.

If those who watch wish it,

I will be selected by those accursed polls.

But, perhaps this Sacred Flame,

is what I’ve been searching for all this time.

A method to burn away the unnecessary,

discover my Silent Self, and be sublimed.

I leave it your hands, fellow magicians,

please help me decide.
