Winter in the Mountains

Another bitter winter sunrise in the mountains. Far from the warmth of the temple, Arabella had only her Hobgoblin’s Flame to rely on. Although the wayward spells of pyromancers were notoriously difficult to control - sometimes sputtering into existence, while other times cascading into the nearest flammable object - she soundlessly channeled the spell through her Rune of Cinnabar to light the cabin furnace.

She had only arrived in fall, but the past already felt like ages ago. The passing of time had never felt so comfortable.
