Canon for Hedge Wizard Casper of the Garden Casper is a white hat wizard who lives in the White Wizard Tower. No one knows how old he is or if he even has any magic at all. He doesn’t talk much but sits for hours in silence. He has a white rat named Adofo as a pet. Adofo comes and goes but enjoys taking naps tucked inside of Casper’s yellow elven cloak. Many believe that Casper knows what happened to the eleven missing wizards who disappeared decades ago at the corner of Noxi Road and Iota Path in the Emerald Forest. Four of the eleven missing families started the town of Almanac at the corner where the wizards went missing. The families and descendants of Horis Beridian, Morana Roanoke, Keres Aducah, and Odren Temal have traveled to the White Wizard Tower many times to ask him what he knows but he won’t come out of the tower or talk to anyone.
Casper sometimes takes Adofo and sits him on the window ledge at the top of the tower. They stare at the ponies from the Elysian Fields or at the sea off in the distance to the east. Softly Casper mutters, “peace” as tears come down his face.
