Overview

The Donuts System is built around players completing quests to earn Donuts. The goal is simple: Earn as many donuts as possible.

The Donuts website will act as the main hub for all activity. Simply go to site, create an account, and start completing quests. These quests vary from passive to active including social engagements, daily clickers, mini games, and achieving complex in-game Forgotten Runiverse milestones. They reward everyone who completes quests along with all Forgotten Runes NFT holders (past and present). More details below!

Process

1. Sign up for an account at donuts.forgottenrunes.com using email.

2. Connect your Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Ronin wallets with relevant NFTs (wallet delegation supported).

3. Participate in the Passive and Active earning opportunities.

4. Recommended: check back in daily to maximize your earnings.

• Being a holder in times past (you held before and don't anymore, but we love you anyway)

• Rare tokens (the more rare your holdings, the higher quantity you earn)

• The Burning of Dotta POAP

• Voting the House of Wizards DAO

Social Quests:

Anyone can interact with social activations to earn Donuts!

Forgotten Runiverse

Players can earn Donuts through a 13-day long in-game activation where players complete Quests to earn Cards, then redeem Cards for various prizes in the BugBear Temple Mini-Game (located on the Donuts website).

Forgotten Runiverse players will be able to use their Cards earned in-game to bring into the Bugbear Temple. Once in the temple, users may trade the Card with the Chieftain for a chance to one of three chests which contain donuts.

Players who complete all Daily Donut Check-Ins are entered (3 Winners)

Backstory:

Donuts are the name we’ve given to our new Points system. Donuts have deep-seated lore in the Cult, starting even before the original mint of 10k Wizard NFTs. Someone asked “What do I have to do for Wizards allowlist?” Elf J Trul responded: “Sacrifice your soul to a jelly donut.”

They have been previously referenced at many points, notably as a potential “Undesirable” outcome from burning a Wizard with a Sacred Flame. These Donuts Souls are character NFTs in our world, and will be playable characters when the Souls collection is added to Forgotten Runiverse (complete with the same ability to record lore, animated walk cycles, 3D models, etc. as other characters)

Recently Donuts were featured as part of the Shadows ordinals mint, where people submitted videos of themselves “sacrificing their soul to a jelly donut” for a chance at an allowlist spot.
