Entry 1: My Birth

Help help,
I am stuck!
My position is wrong,
and I can’t get out.
Momma is trying,
But she is tiring. It’s been hours
she has been pushing.
Momma and I
are getting scared.
Momma is crying,
Farmer is calming,
“Healer is coming,
Help is on the way!”

New voice arrives,
Farmer sounds relieved.
A few gentle words,
A sudden tingling,
and Momma calms down.
The new voice,
Strangely soothing.

Woah! Something new!
A pair of hands,
Pulling and prodding,
Turning me around.
Feeling much better!
A few words again,
From the new voice,
Momma finds new strength!
Farmer is urging,
New voice is coaxing,
New hands are pulling,
and I am moving!

A sudden swish,
Dazzling lights,
World is swirling,
In the arms of the new voice.
I shout my cry of arrival,
“Neigh! I have arrived!”
Before my eyes,
A strange looking man,
With a yellow hat,
A fluffy beard,
Yellow eyes.

Farmer calls him Soran,
Wizard #9263,
The new voice he is,
A face I will remember,
Eternally grateful I am.
