Humprhey Impaler of the Cage was born to a wealthy family of Wizards. He was eloquent, well spoken, intelligent but he was stubborn as a stump and painfully unrelenting in his search for his purpose. From a young age his family enrolled him in a number of Wizard Academies to hone his magical abilities, but as long back as he could remember, he knew he wanted to fight. And dance! But mostly fight.

As he struggled to fit in at the Wizards' Schools, his family pushed him harder and listened less, so he discovered that he needed to escape the shackles bound to him by birth, and make his own way. Humphrey muscled his way out of the academy and across the land to find himself in the wide wild world. His actions landed him in loads of trouble, and once he learned where they were locking him up, he made peace with his detention.

He battled through the Brown Wizard Delta.

He fought his way out of the Forest of the Imps.

Wrestled everyone at the Chronomancer's Riviera Gala.

He was briefly subdued at the Purple Wizard Pavilion but punched his way out.

And assaulted an elder in Avalon.

He subsequently was sent to Dread Tower to serve time for his crimes. Years of fighting for survival hardened young Humphrey and when he was released he was the buffest and toughest 13 year old there ever was.
