We're building an open-source, decentralized Lord of the Rings: a collaborative IP where the token-holders have a commercial right to their creations. Plenty of folks make fan art about Harry Potter and Game of Thrones, but you're not able to commercialize those projects. With Forgotten Runes, you can.

Magic Machine (the company that started Forgotten Runes) is producing a variety of projects to bootstrap the global brand including:

• An MMORPG (The Runiverse Game with Bisonic)
• A Comic Book series (Illustrated by Reilly Brown who worked on Deadpool)
• A TV Show (In development with Derek Kolstad of John Wick fame)

But the community has tons of creations themselves including card games, pony racing, merch, and a steady stream of artworks about their character.
