Archmagus Uvlius of the Woodlands

The Cloud Prophets’ face was gently illuminated by the setting sun, as it cast its final rays through the open window. The Mandrake Potion was almost complete. One final ingredient remained, but he knew where to find it. The suspicion of the woodland spies would be confirmed by his traveling at night, but the time for caution was past.

He gathered his thoughts as his eyes close softly and a calm swept over his mind. He could see the path he was to take, but a distant foreboding presence clouded his vision. The Quantum Shadow had cast a supernatural haze on all that was once clear.

Opening his eyes, he stood and gathered the final supplies for the long journey. A deep resolve stirred his soul. He committed to himself, that no matter the difficulties, failure would not find him. Death would not meet him, though it searched, he would remain hidden from its sight. His part of the prophecy would be fulfilled. His promise would be kept.
