Wizard on the Coast

Where is the Wizard?

It’s been a while since we last heard from this Wizard on the Coast.

It appears he’s been hard at work.
But nowhere to be found at the moment.

We see the lemonade stand looks to have been renovated with some updates.

The lemonade stand is now a lemonade hut!

Tourism is slow, but business must be good with the locals.

Wilson really knows how to slang some lemonade.

The grapes have barely have time to dry out, these raisins are selling like hot cakes.

With the addition of new fruits and drinks, revenue is increasing at a steady pace too.

Looking up at the hut you'll see the new menu;

ELIXERS

Mythical Blue Lemonade - 2 clams
Magic Mango Mushroom - 2.5 clams

Sunshine Orange Juice - 2 clams
Matcha tea - 2 clams

BOOSTERS

Raisin - 1 clam
Dried Mango Slices - 3 clams

Small bag of “Herbs” - 4.2 clams

Tropical Fruit Salad - 6.9 clams
Banana “to go” - 2 clams

Who knew a little blue rat could be so business savvy?

"The snowbirds will be flying in again soon. This lonely lemonade stand could use a some additional businesses as company. Can I lease this beach front property?”

Wilson thought to himself.

“We’ll save those endeavors for another day, time close shop.”

Wilson begins scurrying around as he closes up the lemonade hut for this evening.

Wilson can’t help but think about his wizard companion.

Wondering when he’ll back.

He knows better than to worry. The Wizard told him, he had things to take care of and will be back in time.

It’s been months now.

But a Wizard on the Coast is not worried about time.

“It gets done when it’s meant to get done.”

Regardless, we can’t help but wonder where he could be.

Wilson finalizes his tally for the day. Counts up the inventory.

Everything is spot on, of course.

Wilson has some free time this evening.
He decides to take an evening stroll, heading south of the lemonade hut.

For a little blue rat, Wilson can cover a good distance of travel with haste.

Wilson heard from customers who traveled from here, tell stories of a hurricane and the coastal devastation.

However, upon arrival, Wilson did not spot any devastation.

The area barely looked as if anything ever happened.

In fact, it appeared to be renovated and looked better than ever before!

There is a familiar style to all this work.
Perfect cuts, exact measurements, crisp paint lines, and cleaned up properly.
Quality work.

A Wizard on the Coast must close.

Wilson has traveled far from the lemonade hut.

Time may not matter to the wizard but, Wilson has a business schedule to maintain and must hurry.

Wilson races to the beach in search of the wizard. He checks around the palm trees, under some rocks, around the corner, and up the bend.

Still no wizard to be found.

The sun begins to peak up off in the horizon.
Wilson can’t keep looking for the wizard. He must get back to the hut for opening hours.

He heads back north to lemonade hut.

Wilson arrives back early, with some time to spare, he gathers a few berries to snack on before going back to the hut.

A breakfast of champions. (If you’re a small blue rat.)

As Wilson walks up the hut, he notices the front door is ajar and the light is on.

He begins to slowly walk up the hut.

“CLINK, CLANK…. CRASH”

Before reaching the doorway Wilson is startled by a few noises coming from inside the hut.

“BURGLARS!”
Wilson thinks!

This mighty rat will defend this hut with all his might!

Puffing his chest up, he enters the hut.

“SQUEAK!!!” Yells Wilson.

A pile of rubble centered in the hut begins to shuffle.

A figure emerges from the pile shaking off clutter.

It’s him, the Wizard on the Coast!

“WILSON, Where have YOU been!?”

 Exclaims the wizard.

To be continued…

Life's a beach.

When we last seen "Watsy", he had just returned from a soul searching journey across the coasts to better figure out where he and his familiar Blue Rat "Wilson" had landed after drifting the open sea.

They had forgotten where they come from.
Wilson is a rat. His short term memory is sharp as a tac.
But being as he is a rat, his long term memory only goes so far back.

Wilson doesn't know much of life without Watsy but neither Wilson or Watsy can recall when they met.

Watsy does remember drifting the open sea one evening when a bad storm hit.

"I remember the lighting flashed, thunder clashed, the waves smashed, my head was bashed, and onto the shore we crashed.

Then I woke up on this coast.

Ever since then, I have made new memories but my earliest memories are still lost in the fog of that night." Watsy explains to Wilson.

Watsy glances at their hut.

"Do we still have that polaroid camera?" Watsy asks Wilson.

Wilson nods, then scurries into the hut and quickly comes back the wizard, handing him the camera.

"WONDERFUL!" shouts Watsy.

"This camera captures the time and prints a memory.
These photos can fade, but now the memories will not.
We must take more photos. I cannot risk forgetting again."

"Come on Wilson, let's take a photo. This snapshot is to forever remember these times."

Watsy and Wilson walk over to the beach.

"CLICK!"
